HISTORY
The Woolmine is owned and operated by Tracey Kuffner in Southern Alberta.
The Woolmine specializes in handmade wool clothing that is sourced from the sheep they raise on their farm, and then dyed by hand using natural and weak acid dyes. Stylish and guaranteed to be warm, these beautiful artistic pieces are perfect for your closet or as a one of a kind gift.
Tracey lives on a small farm with her husband, two children, 150 sheep and a handful of llamas. She has been felting for over 20 years, and has had her clothing company for 18 years. The clothing is one of a kind and made from sheep raised on her farm. Tracey is also author and illustrator of three children’s books. She travels to schools throughout the school year conducting curriculum based felt making workshops to elementary school aged children.
